Born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota, my connection to nature shaped my artistic vision.

Through my work, I hope to inspire people.

Growing up surrounded by pine-covered ridgelines, granite spires, and wide open prairie skies shaped everything about the way I see the world. I’ve always been drawn to the quiet details — the way afternoon light hits a field, a fleeting glance between two people, the texture of a moment that passes before most people notice it. Photography became my way of holding onto those things.

I specialize in wedding, elopement, and portrait photography throughout the Black Hills region and beyond. My approach is natural and unhurried. I’m not here to direct you into a pose that you’ll regret in ten years. I’m here to get to know you, put you at ease, and then get out of the way so the real moments can happen.

I’ve worked with couples in The Black Hills National Forest, Northern California, families coming home to South Dakota, and business owners building something they’re proud of. Every session is different, and that’s what I love about this work.

When I’m not photographing, you’ll find me somewhere outside — which, in the Black Hills, is never far away.
